David, Thank you for doing the preventive work on my 230 SLK. At 95k miles it needed a lot of fluid changes and some front suspension work. I was very happy that you were able to get all this work done in a short time. You warned me about tire wear and spent a lot of time answering my questions about my car. I had the feeling that you really cared about the car and did a great job for me. I will come back to you for any future work and will recommend you to everyone I know with M-B cars. My son has an ML and he will certainly count on you for help. My peace of mind is now at 100% with my car. I am sorry it took so long to send this email but I want to thank you for all you have done for me on such last minute notice regarding the mercedes.  The car drove excellent to Ohio, kudos!  You went above and beyond your call.  Also, to come and check my car on a Saturday when I was having some cooling issues great heart and great trouble shooting!

David, I wanted to send you an email thanking you...
To anyone that loves their Mercedes but dreads going to the dealership, I wanted to share the experience I have had with David Terry.  I have a '01 CLK430 with 100k in miles.  As I love my CLK, the only reason I have thought of getting rid of it is because every time I go into the dealership for something...they seem to "find" thousands of dollars of things to be done.  A couple of months ago, I went to the dealership to get the oil changed and they brought me an estimate of THREE THOUSAND dollars of additional needed work...I knew there had to be something better.  It was a blessing that I found David.  David took the list and told me what was really necessary and what wasn't...then got ALL of it done for less than a thousand...David is one of the most professional and ethical people I have ever met.  I have done business with some of my best friends and I never trusted them as much as I trust David.  Nobody will touch my CLK but David....I trust him as an incredibly talented mechanic and I now call him a friend. 

I am grateful to have met you David and if you ever need a reference I hope I am at the top of the list!

When "J" from Tempe recieved an estimate for over $3000, for additional work needed while getting his oil changed, he was surprised.  Usually he would've just said, do it. But in light of these new economic times, he looked for an alternative. He found my ad on Craigslist and we traded emails a few times.  I gave him some estimates of things he thought he needed, and the rest we looked at when he came by.


While I worked on his car, he spent the day watching movies over at the Harkins. It was like being  paid $2500 to watch movies. He was very happy. While it was an exaggeration for him to say "...you saved me a fortune...",  it was what he said, and  it expressed how he felt.  


Am I located too far from you? Maybe.  But would you drive 50 minutes to save $500 or more. Me too.

When I wanted a Mercedes when I was 17, my father said get one when you can afford the repairs.  Thanks to Dave, I can do that and still have money to spare.  His years of knowledge and kind nature made me comfortable from the 1st time I brought my CLK to him almost a year ago.  Since then, from standard maintenance to late evening emergency repairs, Dave has saved me from taking out a loan with the dealership to get work done. He will always give you the details of what needs to be done and what your options are before working on the car.  I appreciate all he's done and he will definitely help you with your car too.  Thank you   Rasheed A.


 


I can truly say I am satisfied each and every time with the repair service for 1998 ML 320. David is honest, economically priced, quick and efficient and very easy to work with.   David is an excellent trouble shooter.  I had this mysterious vibration and David immediately discovered the issue...left motor mount.  Also, driver power window issue.  He immediately discovered that the window power switch is the issue.  Instead of replacing the very expensive power window switch  he just worked with the wiring to correct.  Saved significantly $$. I recommend David for ANY and ALL Mercedes repair needs you may have.  Thanks David...you have a customer for life!
